Digital management

During this module of digital management you will learn how to manage the information systems portfolio in a company and how to analyse and develop IT governance and processes. You will also learn how to analyse, design, plan and implement the strategy of the company with enterprise architectures, for example transaction processing systems and decision support systems. The courses offer methods and techniques to design, build and control project portfolios.

As a part of this study module, you will decide whether to focus on designing services based on data, information and human expertise streams or to focus more on the business development side via building industrial product-service offerings and service blueprinting, pricing and delivery.

In the module, there are three (3) compulsory courses:

  • Management of ICT function (TITE3270), 5 ECTS
  • Enterprise architectures (TITE2230), 5 ECTS
  • Project portfolio management (ISAN3040), 5 ECTS

Additionally, you can choose one of these service related courses:

  • Service design (ISAN3050), 5 ECTS
  • Service business development (JOHT3062), 5 ECTS

NB! Some courses have limits on the amount of FITech students. Persons without a valid study right to a Finnish university have preference to those courses if not mentioned otherwise.
