Introduction to gas economy

This is a supporting course.

This course is lectured at Åbo Akademi in Vaasa and offers the students knowledge related to the technical, environmental and economical issues of gas as a part of the energy supply chain.

The aim of the course is to provide the student with the basic knowledge in the gas-related field. The goal is to examine the role of gas in the energy supply chain, realise how gas fuels can cooperate with other energy systems and understand why gas is an interesting fuel and why it is increasingly used, both at sea and on land.
