FITech 101: Digi & Data

Instructions for starting the course

Please note that the teaching language of the courses is Finnish.

FITech 101: Digi & Data includes the following courses: Johdatus ohjelmointiin (Introduction to programming), Data ja tieto (Data and information), Internet ja selainohjelmointi (Internet adnd browser applications) and Mobiilisovellukset ja niiden luominen (Mobile application development).

You don’t have to apply to the courses – just go to the course platform and start studying! You can find the link at the end of this page.

To get the study credits officially registered to Aalto University’s register and to receive a FITech digital badge, you need to fill in an application in Studyinfo service (Opintopolku) after completing the course. You will find instructions to do this at the end of the course. Please notice that in order to get the credits registered, you need Finnish strong identification to log into Studyinfo using e.g. online banking credentials.

If you are a degree student in Aalto University include this course to your personal study plan and enrol to the course in Sisu.

Go to the course platform

You will find the courses on a separate course platform.

Create an account

Click ‘Luo tunnus’ (Create an account) on the top right corner of the page. Your progress on the course will be saved on your user account.

Choose a course

If you have little to none programming experience, we recommend to start with the course Johdatus ohjelmointiin (Introduction to programming). After that, you can study all of the courses if you want!
