Instructions for starting the course

You don’t have to apply for the course Introduction to the Internet of Things. Just go to the course platform and start studying! You can find the link at the end of this page.

Registering the ECTS

If you want to get the study credits officially registered to University of Helsinki’s register, you need to enroll to the course through Open University. You will find instructions on how to do this on the course platform.

Adult learners

Adult learners can also apply for a FITech digital badge after the credits have been registered.

Degree students

Degree students from FITech universities can apply for credits like adult learners until 31.12.2025. University of Helsinki is not a part of the FITech teaching cooperation agreement.

How to proceed:

Go to the course platform

You will find the course on a separate platform.

You can sign in with your existing mooc.fi credentials. If you don’t have credentials yet, you can create a new account on the platform (right top corner). If you want to browse through the course content without signing in, you can do that as a guest.
