New funding complements FITech’s course selection
FITech Network University has been granted with a new funding for the development of skills in the green transition
The Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment (SECLE) has granted the FITech Network University a new funding of 218 000 euros for the development of skills in the green transition. A total of six FITech network member universities, Aalto University, Åbo Akademi, Tampere University, University of Eastern Finland, University of Jyväskylä, and University of Oulu, are participating in the project.
Studies in energy, hydrogen economy, wind power, and digitalisation
The funding enables providing FITech courses for continuous learners. The courses complement FITech’s existing course offering related to energy, hydrogen economy, wind power, and digitalisation in areas that are critical to Finland’s competitiveness.
Courses especially for those working in expert and leadership roles
The new courses are aimed at those working in or interested in working in expert or leadership roles in sectors where innovations and technologies related to the green transition can be utilised to increase national export. The courses are primarily conducted in English.
Learners can choose and complete one or more courses based on their personal interests, needs, and available study time. Most courses can be completed flexibly alongside work. There are also courses that require some attendance.
The courses and their application and implementation schedules will be published on FITech’s channels in August 2024.
