ICT Innovation Summer School

The ICT Innovation Summer School course is arranged in collaboration with the EIT Digital Summer School.
To complete the ICT Innovation Summer School course, participants need to complete one EIT Digital Summer School programme.
EIT Digital Summer School arranges programmes around Europe in summer of 2021.
Each EIT Digital Summer School programme consists of
- an 8 hour online assignment (starter kit);
- a two-week on-site programme including lectures, project work, customer interviews, site visits to companies, and socialising events; and
- a final report.
At each EIT Digital Summer School programme, EIT Digital partners present business cases that students will crack in teams supported by experienced coaches. Each team will present their solution to the business case owners on the final day of the Summer School and the jury will appoint one winning team.
Normally the EIT Digital Summer School programme fee is 1 900 euros. In addition, 450 euros is charged for the accommodation for the two-week period. However, FITech sponsors the programme fee of participants who are accepted to the FITech ICT Innovation Summer School course, provided that the participant is not enrolled to any university as a degree student. I.e. the EIT Digital Summer School programme will be free of charge. However, all participants need to pay the accommodation fee as well as the travel costs.

Application
In order to join the EIT Digital Summer School programme and simultaneously take the ICT Innovation Summer School course, you should first
- apply to the EIT Digital Summer School programme through the EIT Digital Summer School website. Please remember to add the code “FITECH2021” to your application form!
After you’ve been accepted to the programme, you can then
- apply to this ICT Innovation Summer school course (CS-E5430) through the FITech website. Please attach a PDF of your acceptance e-mail received from EIT Digital.
The application deadline for the ICT Innovation Summer school course is 10 June 2021. In order to receive your EIT Digital Summer School programme acceptance on time, please apply through the EIT Digital Summer School website latest on 1 June 2021.
Please note that some of the summer schools will be fully booked, thus it is recommended to apply early.
