Course contents

This course addresses new wired and wireless network technologies fulfilling security and QoE requirements. Course topics cover trends and technological foresights in high definition video centric services and ultrabroadband optical networking technologies.

Learning outcomes

After the completion of the course the student

  • has an understanding of the key technologies and security issues in heterogeneous network infrastructures including the service requirements placed on the contemporary and future communication networks.
  • is able to specify the key requirements placed on the heterogeneous communication networks by secure transportation of future services.
