The reduction of emissions and the demand of energy efficiency are boosting the fact that the hybrid energy systems are coming more common in future. This course provides a current state of art in some essential parts of energy systems and their future prospects.

After completion of the course, the student has up to date knowledge on the state of the art and future prospects of the selected themes under energy technology. The focus will be in the most recent scientific work, and in the state of the art and outlook of the companies in the energy sector. The course develops critical thinking and analysis skills, and also oral and written communication skills.

The themes in spring 2022 are bioenergy, geoenergy, solar energy and hydrogen.

Kick-off lecture via Zoom is on Monday 21.2.2022 at 12:00 pm.
