Present and future prospects in energy technology

Individual course

Learning outcomes: The reduction of emissions and the demand of energy efficiency are boosting the fact that the hybrid energy systems are coming more common in future. This course provides a current state of art in some essential parts of energy systems and their future prospects.

After completion of the course, the student has up to date knowledge on the state of the art and future prospects of the selected themes under energy technology. The focus will be in the most recent scientific work, and in the state of the art and outlook of the companies in the energy sector. The course develops critical thinking and analysis skills, and also oral and written communication skills.

Student can choose either a) online course with assignments, or b) exam at campus. As alternative to the assignments, electronic exam in EXAM system at campuses that is open week 15 and re-take open week 21.
