Principles of programming graphical user interfaces
Individual course
During the course, participants will learn how to create graphical user interfaces utilising commonly used user interface components. User interface creation is studied using both interface builders in integrated development environments and on program code level.
In addition, event-based programming, software architecture designs related to graphical user interfaces and some common design models will be discussed.
Upon completion of the course the student will
- know the fundamental knowledge and skills to implement graphical user interfaces
- know how to utilise the most common user interface components
- know and be able to utilise common graphical user interface related software architecture patterns.
Moodle is used during the course for communication and returning the exercises.
