Learning outcomes

The objective is to improve the student’s understanding about theory and design processes of value networks in Internet and to apply this understanding in design cases on the field. The emphasis of the course is in the field exercises implemented as team work and in close collaboration with the chosen Internet-connected firms and their (beta level) service use cases. Students use a given top-down method toolbox including scenario planning, value network configurations, and business model canvas.

Teaching schedule

Lectures on Tuesdays at 2–6 pm and Wednesdays at 8–10 am.

Completion methods

Compulsory: attendance to seminar sessions, presentations and opponency, written seminar reports(s), intermediate examination.
