After completing the course, the students
- will understand how to design services based on data, information and human expertise streams.
- will learn principles, processes and tools to design services for customers.
Course develops organizational operation and critical and analytical thinking.
The content and weighting for the course has an industry-wide approach based on practical application of the concepts. The overall concept of service design is also related to the impact factor of ethical behavior, professional standards and norms in both manufacturing and service industry to enhance customer experience and improve customer satisfaction in bundled product / service delivering as well as an added value in additional revenue stream for firms.
Course requirements and schedule:
Written exam, written group work and participation in possible visitor lectures.
Amount of work: Lectures and exercises 33 h, independent work 102 h.
