For degree students:
University of Turku offers FITech students courses and minors combining modern business models and ICT. Courses discuss diverse topics ranging from enterprise architecture to utilization of global business platforms in building new solutions. Students can learn about how to design new digital products and services for platform economy as well as how to implement these products and services from an IoT device to cloud.
For adult learners:
University of Turku provides ICT courses both on basic and advanced levels. The basic courses introduce students to programming, databases, AI, and software design and development process. Advanced modules focus in 4 areas:
- data science – how to choose and use tools for analysing and learning from data
- information security – the elements and aspects of building secure systems and applications
- interaction design – use of mixed reality in user interfaces of next generation systems
- health technology – collecting and using data and knowledge to support work of health professionals.
