FITech’s course offering expanding with new courses related to the green transition and sustainable development

The free university courses are suitable for those working in sustainable business or energy transition. Enrollment for the first courses is already open.

The new courses are roughly divided into two themes: Business analytics and industrial management with focus on sustainability and Energy Transition and Sustainability. In these free courses that are open for everyone, you can learn about topics such as electrical engineering, various business models, wind power technologies, sustainability, and industrial innovations.

Applicants from various educational backgrounds can apply for the courses, and the studies are suitable for experts developing sustainable business models or working with energy transition. The course selection includes courses for both adult learners and degree students.

These free courses will start soon and are available only during the 2024-2025 academic year — so act quickly to secure your spot in this invaluable training! The courses will be organised once only.

The courses covering wind power project development and commercial and technical expertise of the green transition complement our previous course offerings on energy storage and the hydrogen economy.

FITech offers free courses for degree students and adult learners in Finland. The studies are available for all Finns and people permanently living in Finland. Read more about studying at FITech.

Funding

The training has been funded by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), which is the key instrument of the EU’s Recovery Facility (NextGenerationEU). The financing has been granted by the Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment. The Service Centre promotes the competence development of working-age people and the availability of skilled labour. The operations of the Service Centre are overseen by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment.
