Individual course
The course focuses on installing, managing and using modern cloud platforms. The students learn how to use and manage services in commercial platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Moreover, students learn how to setup their own cloud platform.

- Basics of virtualisation
- Using commercial platforms
- Installing and managing open source cloud platforms
- Risks of virtualisation
- Fundamental ideas behind cloud computing
- Programming models in the cloud
Completion methods
The course requirements are approved exercises and exam. An electronic exam can be done at home. No lectures, video seminars or contact teaching. They have been replaced by educational videos.
This course has a flexible start date. Study rights are granted soon after applying and the students can start studying the course as soon as they have their study rights.
