Individual course

The course introduces guidelines and other standards related to web accessibility, such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Course contents

The course explains the web accessibility principles (POUR), but focuses on the content to make it readable and understandable, including requirements that address cognitive accessibility.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student will be able to

  • apply the principles of accessibility while designing websites.
  • evaluate web accessibility following the guidelines and understands the requirements for cognitive accessibility in W3C standards.
  • make use of tools for evaluating web content based on accessibility.

Completion methods

Independent assignments and final essay. The course can be completed at your own pace.
