Käyttöjärjestelmät
Maksimimäärä FITech-opiskelijoita: 10 Kurssille etusijalla ovat ne henkilöt, joilla ei ole voimassaolevaa opinto-oikeutta suomalaiseen korkeakouluun. Kurssin aikana käydään läpi käyttöjärjestelmien perusteet ja niiden päätoiminnot. Kurssin aiheita ovat käyttöjärjestelmien perusrakenne ja -palvelut, prosessien hallinta, vuorovaikutteisten prosessien koordinointi, lukkiutuminen, muistin hallinta, virtuaalimuisti, massamuistin hallinta ja tiedostojärjestelmät. Osaamistavoitteet Kurssin suoritettuaan opiskelija Opetus Kurssin tentti sekä laboratoriharjoitus suoritetaan kampuksella.

Tällä kurssilla käsitellään tietokoneen arkkitehtuuria ja keskusyksikön (CPU) toimintaa. Kurssin aiheita ovat tietotyypit ja muistinhallinta, keskeytykset, laiterekisterit ja I/O, tietokoneen ohjelmointi ja laiteläheinen ohjelmointi sekä C-kielen perusteet.
