Would you like to learn something new or update your knowledge in spring 2025?
The application period for the FITech courses for spring 2025 will start on Wednesday, 13 November, 2024, at 9 am. In spring 2025, you can enhance your skills with free courses on familiar themes such as digitalisation and renewable energy. The selection will consist of nearly 200 free university courses, covering topics such as cyber security, programming, renewable energy, and project management.
Whether you are already working, planning a career change or still in the middle of your studies, FITech has something for you! There are beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses available, suitable for various types of learners. The courses are offered in Finnish, English, and Swedish.
Almost all courses are provided as online studies, and many of them can be studied at your own pace. Some courses also offer the opportunity to participate in teaching at the university campus. Please familiarise yourself with the study methods and potential prerequisites on the course page before applying.
The FITech offering consists of courses organised by the Finnish universities of technology, ensuring the high quality of the courses. The courses are organised by Aalto University, LUT University, Tampere University, University of Eastern Finland, University of Helsinki, University of Jyväskylä, University of Oulu, University of Turku, University of Vaasa, and Åbo Akademi University.

In spring 2025, the course selection will consist of both new courses and familiar courses. One of the new courses is Materiaalien ominaisuudet ja kierrätys (in Finnish) organised by the University of Eastern Finland. The course focuses on the fields of chemistry, process engineering, and environmental technology.

This way, you can start studying quickly and complete the course at your own pace. The applications for these courses are handled in approximately one week.
