Wireless technology

After initially getting wired to the Internet, we are now rapidly cutting the wires and connecting to Internet and machines wirelessly. This invisible magic is based on wireless technology. The performance of technology has already improved to a level that makes some users forget its existence and others think there are no limits. But challenges in wireless keep emerging, waiting to be solved soon. The vision of a fully connected wireless society is pushing ahead a vast number of researchers and companies.

Studying university courses on wireless technology not only allows the student to understand the technical opportunities and limitations but also to apply it for different use cases. Mastering the most advanced course content enables the student to join the R&D projects toward new wireless technologies.

Teaching and application period

FITech offers wireless technology courses from basic to advanced level. Since the basis of wireless is on mathematics and physics, stepwise progress toward more advanced courses is necessary. Please, pay attention to the prerequisites of each course before applying.

To find out the exact application period, see the details of each course below. If the application period is not active, you can subscribe to the course. This way, you will receive an email notification when the application period starts or other course information is changed.

All studies are free of charge. FITech reserves the right to change the course information without prior notice.

NB! You can take one or more courses but it is not mandatory to complete all of the courses in the specialization. Some courses have limits on the amount of FITech students. Persons without a valid study right to a Finnish university have preference to those courses.
